Actively learning is good for children

I think the best way for children to learn is actively, for my own experience of teaching almost ten years; active learning methods to stimulate children's thinking skills, also can stimulate children's creativity, and also children in the group learn more discussion between students from different answers and cultural backgrounds. Teachers can know more about from child's answers and child's needs and before experiences.

For example, we often use different questions to ask children, like what are hermit crabs and snails different? We show hermit crabs and snails to them, then they can ask different questions or answer your questions, they may have wisdom many different ideas, through discussion, to be a detailed description from teacher. Last they can have a better understanding two similar but not the same of biology, and the other hand, if we use passively teaching way, children just learning to unable to penetrate the surface and then quickly forget what they have learned.



Families in the Chinese, many parents think that passively is very important, especially when the children kept asking why, the parents usually will ask the child to stop asking questions, sometimes even angry. So maybe next they do not want to ask a question, if parents or teachers can more patience and more, when children understand the real reason, they will think about the answers by themselves, increase their self-confidence, learning and relationships in the future interaction, there will be positive help.
